The Governorship as established in the County Government Act, 2012 is comprised of Office ofthe Governor, Office of the Deputy Governor and the County Executive Committee Office. It ischarged with the mandate of providing County leadership in implementation of County Policy anddevelopment by ensuring the County Government works in harmony through improved policydirection, coordination and information sharing between County Government Ministries,Departments and Agencies.Key Achievements-Established key institutions and structures including county executive committee, Office of theChief Officers, devolved unit structures and more importantly integrating the former defunct localauthorities and devolved functions.-Implementing and operational of key legislations for example County Government Act, 2012,Cities and Urban Centers Act, 2011, Public Finance Management Act, 2012, Public Procurementand Disposal Act, 2005, Transition to Devolved Government Act, 2012.
