...This Gender Sector Statistics Plan (GSSP) 2019/202022/23 is the culmination of an extensive process that will go a long way in affecting how we appreciate, generate and make use of gender statistics in the country. The Plan has been aligned with Vision 2030, the Medium-Term Plan (MTP) III (Gender Sector Plan) 20182022 and the Kenya Strategy for the Development of Statistics (20192023). In addition, the Plan has also been aligned with gender-related global normative frameworks, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA), and the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
