...Kajiado County has witnessed rapid urbanisationin the last few decades with people moving into settle, setting up residential areas, businesses, industries and other development activities. Ngong Municipality has taken the bulk of urbanization. With the onset of devolution, Ngong has witnessed high population growth and economic activities, resulting in a lot of development and change in three towns characters. Due to this rapid growth the County,is expected to commit more investment to cope with this expansion. More people need to be accommodated in a suitable environment with ease of movement, adequate physical and social infrastructure,and providing enabling environment to support investments and employment opportunities.
