The County Government of Machakos espouses the values of accountability, fairness, humandignity, justice and inclusiveness as enshrined in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya,2010. Resources and decision-making responsibilities are to be used in ways that are transparentand accountable to all stakeholders. This is complemented by the highest standards, flexibility andpragmatism in projects implementation.To ensure that this commitment is lived out and as outlined in the Machakos County PublicParticipation Act, 2014, the Machakos County Government Feedback and Complaints HandlingPolicy provides the framework through which stakeholders can give feedback and forwardcomplaints on the Governments work and how these will be heard and handled fairly, efficientlyand effectively.
