Description	In accordance with Article 216 (1) (a) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, the Commission on Revenue Allocation hereby submits its recommendation concerning the basis for equitable sharing of revenue raised by the national government between the national and county governments for the financial year 2014/2015. Based on the analysis of historical allocations and the additional costs of new county structures, the total cost for running all the 47 counties in 2014/15 is Kshs.279,162 million, or 40 per cent of the total shareable revenue for the fiscal year 2011/12 audited and approved accounts.
