Description	This County Integrated Development Plan is the first publication produced by the county government of West Pokot and its stakeholders. It is the new medium term county development blueprint and is motivated by a collective aspiration for a better society by end of the Plan period. The Plan has been carefully prepared and informed by the Kenya Vision 2030 that aims to transform Kenya into a newly industrialising, middle income country providing a high quality of life to all its citizens in a clean and secure environment. Simultaneously, the plan aspires to accelerate the realization of the MDGs for county residents by 2015. Its implementation will be through annual rolling work plans starting from the period 2013/2014.
